Tamika Cannon has practiced law for more than 18 years. During that time, she has helped over 2,200 clients in navigating the legal system. She approaches each case with passion, patience, and preparation. Her commitment to each client extends beyond routine legal representation, aiming to provide tailored and effective solutions to each case. She is dedicated to helping clients identify what their primary goal is in a case and developing a legal strategy to obtain it.

Tamika has appeared statewide in Magistrate Court, Family Court, Common Pleas, General Sessions Court, The South Carolina Court of Appeals, and the South Carolina Supreme Court. She was the Lead Attorney in the South Carolina Court of Appeals Case, Taylor vs. Taylor, which determined that orders of protection may be granted to minor children in the state. Tamika has led an Appellate Law Clinic with S.C. Victim Assistance Network, in which she represented crime victims and helped them assert their constitutional rights. She served as Lead Attorney with S.C. Legal services, where she led legal classes and trainings. She has presented multiple times with the South Carolina Bar, training other attorneys on filing orders of protection and mediation. She has also been a presenter at the South Carolina Family Law Judges Conference and South Carolina Magistrate Judge Conference.
